Cisco Live 2024

Where Voice Becomes Visible

As part of the George P. Johnson creative team, I led the creative direction for Sound Art, an interactive installation at Cisco Live 2025—Cisco’s flagship event bringing together global technology leaders to explore innovation, collaboration, and the future of connectivity.

Sound Art centers on one powerful idea: your voice matters. The installation translates spoken words into a real-time audio-visual composition, transforming each participant’s voice—whether a rallying cry, vision, team mantra, or Cisco Live goal—into a living visual expression.

Attendees were invited to move around and between the screens, fully immersing themselves in the experience as sound became form. The layered visuals appeared to float in mid-air, encouraging exploration, interaction, and capture from multiple perspectives.

Designed as both a participatory artwork and a social moment, Sound Art celebrated expression, presence, and shared creativity—inviting attendees to take part and share their experience with #CiscoLive.

Technical & Design Highlights

Layered transparent LED screens created depth and a floating visual effect. Using TouchDesigner, live voice input was translated into real-time visuals across each screen—allowing sound to shape motion and composition while preserving a porous space for attendees to move through and explore.
